Training clients over 60 is one of our passions, because we believe that you are only as old as you feel. We also know that appropriate and regular exercise slows down the ageing process tremendously. In fact many of our clients come to us because their doctor told them they need to do something about their weakening muscles and bones, or to reduce their blood pressure.

They are wise enough  to understand the necessity of regular exercise and realise it is crucial for healthy body and mind, they are not doing it for vanity, but for their health and fitness, and that’s what we love about training ladies and men who are over 60. We found they are actually more committed to improving their health and we witnessed incredible transformation in many of our clients over the years of our experience.

Did you know that our muscles start to deteriorate from 30 onward?

Regular weight bearing exercises, such as exercises with resistance bands or dumbbells or even some body weight exercises can help you rebuild those lost muscles even if you start after 60. 

And did you know that our bones become very weak and brittle over time, (well you probably knew that)?

But weigh bearing exercises can reverse this and actually improves bone density, calcium supplements are great, but no where near as effective as exercise. 

And no, it doesn’t mean you have to join a gym and lift heavy weights. Weight training is not just for 25 year olds, in fact it’s actually less important for them than it is for us over 30, 40 and even more so 50 +  We need this to maintain our body in the best possible physical shape that we can resisting the cruel ageing process.

So ladies and gents, let’s show them what you are made of and how tough you really are. All you need is proper guidance, support and accountability to stay consistent and you will be amazed what your body still can do, no matter the age. Baby boomers – sticks and stones won’t break your bones, but a little fall can, however you can change this with our help.  Let’s get you moving in a way that you used to move, without pain and difficulty, especially when it comes to doing those every day basic tasks.
